  • Major Hotel Stansted Airport. Entire entire ground floor flood. Speed drying technology dried, partition walls and saturated carpets with underlay within 2 days allowing for continued trading and refurbishment as agreed with Insurers as a planned maintenance project. This allowed the Hotel to keep trading with the minimum of downtime.

  • Meadowhall Shopping Centre Sheffield. When a number of retails stores flooded after a severe storm, downtime of the stores needed to be kept to a minimum. Due to the size of each store and power limitations, it was decided by the Loss Assessor and Retailers that our trailer drying systems be deployed as part of the recovery program - thereby reducing delays that could have been expected had traditional methods been used.

  • Hotel Grosvenor Sq London: Flood to Exhibition Hall the night before the start of a major exhibition. Speed Drying technology dried the saturated stands, wilton carpets with felt underlay and removed odour overnight allowing the exhibition to continue as planned.

  • Offices Bristol, major flood on a Friday evening causing disruption to VAT department handing £3,500,000 in transactions every day including weekends. Speed Drying technology deployed that same evening of call out ensured rapid drying of the building enabling almost continuous trading.

  • Well known Wall covering manufacturer, St Albans, Major flood to ground floor offices, canteen and workshop. Speed drying technology ensured rapid return to much of the affected areas within days without rip out of partition walls which were saved. Significant time and refurbishment costs were saved as a result of our actions.

  • Offices Gloucester. Following storms, the river flood throughout the ground floor of these offices causing the Café to close and disruption through out. Contract cleaners called us in to reduce the impace. We had the cafe trading within 23 hours and the main reception the same day. The rest of the floor was dried to pre incident conditions within days. Loss of business was minimal.

  • Nursery Telford, Flooded throughout the building. Speed drying technology ensured no structural strip out allowing for a return to business in 12 days as opposed to several months had conventional dehumidifiers been used.

  • School, Northampton, Major flood to the music Block. Seriously flooded previously to a similar degree, the was out of use for nearly six months. When it flood again, by using our Speed Dry technology, the recovery took just two months and saved on the substantial cost of stripping plaster /skirtings which were left en situ.

  • University, London, Flooding to library and three floors below. Speed drying technology was deployed following this major flood allowing for normal use of the building within one week.

  • Historic Book Museum, London Euston, major flood. This library had to be kept at very specific environmental conditions. The flooding significantly elevated environmental relative humidity, potentially increasing the risk from mould proliferation risking historic books and documents. Our system quickly reduced and maintained the RH to acceptable levels.

  • Document Archive Store Bristol. Major flood throughout basement storage. Severe flooding over a substantial area caused hundreds of filled archive boxes to topple into the water. After excess water was pumped away, Speed drying technology was used, drying the boxes and paperwork within 48hrs and making the work of our document Recovery partners a whole lot easier.

  • Engineering Company Cambridge. Major flood with potential to cause secondary damage to £10m worth of industrial machinery saved from rusting Saved by the use of Speed drying technology.

  • Printers North London. Entire ground floor flooded with £5m worth of printing machines at serious risk of corrosion. Speed Drying technology was used to control the Relative humidity and dry the offices allowing return to business in three days.

  • Public House / Restaurant. Major river flood through ground floor comprising some 5000 sq ft. With £10000 per week loss of profits. A fast solution was required. Speed drying technology was used and within two weeks the business was up and running. Refurbishments agreed with Insurers were put in hand as a planned refurb schedule. The business owner later reported a notable increase in turnover as his nearby competitors, also flooded in the same event using traditional dehumidifier and strip out methods, were left out of business for up to ONE YEAR!

  • Steelworks, Sheffield. Major river flood throughout the works affecting heavy industry machinery. Speed drying technology deployed to dry machinery fast and prevent rusting. This allowed engineers to check out and re commission the machinery, saving £millions in downtime and replacement costs.

  • Football club: Guernsey. Following a major flood to the entire club a year previously, the building had been refurbed at significant cost and had been out of business, almost as long. Following failure of the flooring, it was found that the subfloor was still saturated and that pipe work buried in the floor was leaking. Our Speed dry technology was used to reduce the impact and cut downtime. Within 16 days the floor was certified dry and new floorcoverings /redecoration were undertaken in a short period to allow a return to normal trading.
